Are you looking to use your IT Risk and Security experience to guide Information Security for a company that was voted one of the top places to work in IT by Computerworld? Do you have at least 8 years of experience in an information security or IT risk role? If so, we want to speak with you. We are currently seeking a BISO to join our IT Risk Management (ITRM) group. This role will support St. Michelle Wine Estates in Woodinville, WA. We want you to be a spokesperson for ITRM, gaining widespread support of and compliance with information security requirements.

What will you be doing?

• You’ll act as a domain expert who diligently assists with the improvement of security on information systems.
• You will interpret and implement information security policies, standards, and other requirements in light of specific internal information systems.
• You’ll develop and communicate security and compliance requirements to Information Services and key business partners.
• You are responsible for technical support on matters related to information security such as the criteria to use when selecting information security products.
• You’ll provide information security direction and advisement for initiatives in ecommerce, mobile, cloud technologies and agile development projects.
• You will give technical and business advice on Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance.
• You will provide business and technical advice on a wide variety of IT risk issues, concerns, and problems, making sure all business processes incorporate adequate information security.
• You will review requirements statements, feasibility analyses, operating procedure manuals, and other documents produced during the internal systems development process.
• You’ll be a technical leader in periodic information systems and applications risk assessments, including those associated with the development of new or significantly improved business applications
• You are a resource to users, user department management, and others who are seeking more information about information security and IT risk.
• You’ll monitor current and proposed laws, regulations, industry standards and ethical requirements related to IT risk, privacy, and information security.

Specific Skills

What does your background and experience look like?

• You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline
• You have 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in an IT risk or information security role
• You understand IT risk, information security fundamentals, defense-in-depth practices, IT risk assessment fundamentals and risk management practices.
• You have a broad knowledge of IT technologies, application platforms and operating systems.
• You understand modern networking technologies and network security controls.
• You have superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• We prefer that you have Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certifications.
• You are able and available for occasional travel to Richmond, VA, US and other US locations. Anticipate travel to Richmond to be once every other month.
