Are you looking to work for a Fortune 200 CPG company, developing best-in-class digital experiences for adult consumers? Do you have 8 plus years of IT experience that includes experience with C# and/or Java, JavaScript, JSON, AWS and Azure? If so, we want to speak with you about the Full Stack Development Architect position we are looking to fill in Richmond, VA.

What will you be doing?

• You will coordinate internal and external teams of software developers, designers and testers to craft and grow our marketing and sales systems in the Azure cloud. While this role is highly technical, requiring expertise in several software delivery disciplines, you will collaborate with business leaders to build, define and evolve the long-term strategy for our platform capabilities.
• You’ll have the authority and responsibility to choose libraries, tools, coding practices and frameworks that best meet the needs of your applications and to direct the day-to-day tasks for your development team.
• You will work closely with the Digital & Marketing Services team to achieve a deep understanding of customer perspectives, overall business goals and the requirements from a broad range of third-party suppliers.
• You will be responsible for the analysis, evaluation, building, programming, testing, correcting, implementing, operating or supporting existing and planned IT products and processes under the general direction of the lead architect.
• You’ll assess technical infrastructure and processes, identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
• You will communicate complex technical information to business customers and project teams in the written and spoken languages of their domains.
• You’ll participate as a technical resource for a variety of information projects that will be decided by current business needs and technological developments.

Specific Skills

What does your background, skills, and experience look like?

• We prefer you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
• You have at least 8+ years of experience in IT
• You are experienced with Java and/or C#, along with JavaScript, JSON and RESTful APIs
• You have worked with relational and/or document-oriented databases
• You have experience with AWS, Azure (preferred) or Google Cloud, especially with Platform as a Service (PaaS) products
• You possess a deep understanding of software security including tunneling, encryption, hashing, authentication, access control, and directory services (Azure AD preferred)
• You are effective in leading and participating in cross-discipline IT project delivery teams
• You possess strong communication and presentation skills.
