Architect, design and implement data and voice networks for a Fortune 200 Company that was selected by ComputerWorld as one of the Best Places to Work in IT! Do you have at least 10 years of experience as in Network Architecture, designing and implementing large-scale Networks? If so, we want to speak with you! We are currently looking for a Network Architect on our IT Operations team in Richmond, VA, and are open to a remote working situation.

In this role, you will:

• Define WAN/LAN strategy and determine network reference architecture to support both current and future business needs.
• Maintain the overall network architecture and three-year roadmap
• Collaborate with fellow IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions to meet business needs
• Plan core network augmentation strategies to support new (e.g., software defined) and predicted requirements
• Design structured network capacity planning and monitoring strategy

We want you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale IP/MPLS Network
• A high proficiency with designing, implementing, and solving problems on a wide range of networking platforms and technologies including Cisco (e.g., ACI, ASA, FTD, FMC, DNAC, Satellite, Prime, Wireless Controllers), F5, NetBrain, Wireshark, Solarwinds, Bluecoat, Palo Alto, and AlgoSec
• Extensive experience with Layer 3 routing protocols including IPsec Tunnel, EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF
• Knowledge and experience with the management and configuration of Cisco switching devices and Cisco IOS, such as Catalyst: 29xx, 3xxx, 9xxx and Nexus devices such as 5k,7k & 9k
• Advanced knowledge with an array of network services including enterprise routing, switching, load balancing, firewall, wireless network, VPN, MPLS and network security
• Complex problem resolution skills relating to network connectivity and application inter-operability
• We prefer that you have Cisco CCNA/CCNP Certification
• You are familiar with public cloud infrastructure services such as MS Azure
• Knowledge of:
• SDN and SD-WAN technologies and solutions
• VoIP Technology, Cisco Call manager, UCS, CUCM, design and execution of various Cisco Unity configurations supporting Unified Messaging
