Are you passionate about Quality and looking for an opportunity to help support a Culture of Quality for a Fortune 200 company? Do you have 8+ years of in quality systems auditing and operations? If so, we want to speak with you about the Quality Compliance Auditor position we’re looking to fill in Richmond, VA.

What will you be doing?

• You will conduct quality audits of internal, supplier, and/or clinical related operations to evaluate our level of conformance to company and regulatory standards.
• You will support our FDA inspection activities, develop compliance assessments and trend analysis of emerging risk areas and formulate escalation communications to management.
• You’ll apply your knowledge of Quality, operations and FDA related regulatory compliance to assist in the development, execution and assessment of proposed corrective action plans and remediation projects.
• You will plan, conduct and report audit results to departmental and operational management.
• You’ll plan and coordinate audit and project activities with multi-discipline / multi-functional teams.
• You’ll identify and call out internal and external situations which may pose quality/compliance risks.
• You will assist in developing, implementing and monitoring of objectives, procedures, tracking and trending mechanisms to ensure that management is consistently informed on the status and effectiveness.
• You’ll increase organizational capability by helping to develop company-wide audit resources through training and/or mentoring.
• You will provide guidance and recommendations to management on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) implementation and issues resolution.

Specific Skills

What does your background and experience look like?

• You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a Physical Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 8 years of relevant experience in quality systems auditing and operations.
• You have direct work experience at the FDA or you have quality compliance experience in an FDA regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices or dietary supplements.
• You pay attention to the details and have excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• You’re a great communicator, in writing, face-to-face and as a presenter.
• You’re highly collaborative. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills along with the proven ability to collaborate with others.
• You’re tactful, persuasive and independent. You’re comfortable providing critical and sensitive feedback to the most senior levels of management.
• We’d like you to be proficient in conflict negotiation and resolution.
• You’re autonomous, comfortable working with minimal direct supervision.
• You’re comfortable with technology, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• We’d like you to have audit and/or quality certification or be on your way to obtaining certification within a year.
• You’re comfortable working during non-core hours as required.
• You’re able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
