Altria Group Distribution Company’s role is to provide sales, distribution and consumer engagement services for Altria’s tobacco operating companies.

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Sr. Analyst Customer Supply Chain to join our Transportation Management team in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented teammate who has a passion for helping others succeed through intellectual curiosity.

As a member of a diverse support team, you are passionate about:

* Leading the development of supply chain management tools with an eye for minimizing cost and risk while improving supplier capabilities.
* Coordinating and testing system-related changes for transportation
* Managing the Transportation Management System (TMS) application
* Partnering with our transportation vendors to deliver winning results.

You will:

* Lead the Transportation Management System Project
* Manage transportation suppliers (Truck Load, LTL and warehouse fleet)
* Coordinate SAP data entry for transportation-related activities
* Execute SAP testing for new products and distribution models
* Perform/support audits of 3rd Party Logistics providers.
* Coordinate compliance-related activities
* Enhance the supply chain planning infrastructure.
* Support teammates and internal customers.
* Develop advanced skills in forecasting and supply chain planning.

Specific Skills

You have:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, preferably with a focus in Supply Chain and Logistics or related discipline.
* 3+ years of relevant experience, where you developed a firm grasp of Supply Chain Management processes and systems.
* A solid understanding of Quality System principles.
* Knowledge of SAP, Transportation Management Systems, Data Aggregators, MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (JDA a plus).
* Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
* Ability to listen to understand, learn new skills, and subject matter required to succeed.
* Performs independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
* Open to sharing knowledge freely, help others whenever possible.
* Confident enough to ask for help when needed.
